Audacy

context

Audacy, formerly CBS Radio, is a major audio and entertainment company spanning radio stations, podcasts, music programming, and large-scale live events. As a Senior Art Director, I worked across the company’s portfolio of music festivals, concerts, broadcasts, and podcasts, helping translate each property into a cohesive visual experience across digital, physical, and live environments.

the ask

Audacy needed a creative partner who could help translate its extensive portfolio of music, radio, podcast, and live entertainment brands into cohesive, engaging visual experiences across every platform. My role spanned everything from radio stations and the Audacy app to podcasts, large-scale concerts and festivals with 19K+ attendees, artist activations, and experiential properties such as Coachella House, with each requiring a distinct visual identity while remaining connected to the larger Audacy ecosystem. The challenge was to create work that could move seamlessly between digital campaigns, social content, broadcast graphics, event branding, environmental design, signage, activations, and live experiences, often across multiple projects and audiences simultaneously.

the solution

I led the visual development and execution of event brands from concept through onsite production, creating event logos, visual identities, style guides, social and digital campaigns, wayfinding, print materials, environmental graphics, media backdrops, activations, and stage/backstage environments. Onsite, I directed creative production and content teams, coordinated photo and video capture, managed live-posting schedules and deliverables, and helped ensure the visual experience remained cohesive from the first promotional touchpoint through the live event. Beyond individual events, I also directed a 15+ person multidisciplinary creative team, developed visual systems for radio stations and podcasts, and implemented a project management system that streamlined creative workflows across an organization of 300+ employees.
